These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in and attendance at the Beats on Bay Beat Battle (the “Event”). By registering as a contestant, you agree to the applicable section(s) below.

1. Terms for Contestants
1.1 Eligibility
• Contestants must be residents of The Bahamas or legally authorized to perform and compete within The Bahamas.
• Contestants must be at least 16 years of age. Contestants under 18 require written consent from a parent/guardian.
1.2 Registration & Fees
• Paid Registration (Guaranteed Entry): A non-refundable fee is required to guarantee placement in the Event. This fee contributes to event production, marketing, prizes, and related costs.
• Free Registration (Invite Consideration): Contestants may register for free to be considered for an invite. However, priority is given to paid registrants with hopes of filling all contestant slots.
• Registration does not guarantee participation unless confirmed by Event organizers via email.
1.3 Communication & Consent
• By registering, Contestants consent to being contacted regarding Event updates, requirements, and future promotions by Beats on Bay, Trevents Entertainment, Trehouz Creative Studios, and partners.
• Contestants may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.
1.4 Event Rules
• Contestants must perform original beats/productions. Unauthorized copyrighted material will result in disqualification.
• Contestants agree to follow all instructions from Event organizers and judges.
• Judges’ decisions are final.
1.5 Image & Likeness Release
• Contestants grant organizers the right to record, photograph, and broadcast performances.
• Contestants consent to the use of their name, image, likeness, and performance in promotional, marketing, or digital materials without compensation.
1.6 Liability & Conduct
• Contestants participate at their own risk. Organizers are not liable for injury, loss, or damages.
• Contestants must maintain professional conduct; misconduct may result in disqualification.
1.7 Prizes
• Prizes will be announced prior to the Event.
• All prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
2. Amendments & Final Authority
• Organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms, adjust Event rules, reschedule, or cancel the Event at their sole discretion.
• Contestant registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
